 Favourite  Fishsticks:  2BXN Destroyernator

I love how absolutely solid these bad boys feel. I've gone through other sticks in the past that I'm told I can't break, but have completely splintered within weeks. Fishsticks feel strong, balanced, and the extra length really gives me the ability to hit faster than I thought I could. Besides all that, they look unbelievable! I am in love with the 2BXN Destroyernators, for all of the above mentioned reasons but also because of the name. I am a Destroyernator as well lol!

Bio:

My onstage persona is a strong warrior woman who is intimidating, strong and beastly. I have the same powerhouse energy playing for 2 people or 2000 people. Drumming is my passion, my absolute place in life is onstage behind a kit playing as hard and as fast as I can. I've played in my current band "The Blacktides" for 2 years and we've supported some huge International Musicians:

-Michael Greaves (Misfits) @ Cherry Bar, Melbourne

-Dee Snider (Twisted Sister) @ The Croxton Bandroom, Melbourne

-Nick Oliveri (Queens of the Stone Age) HQ, Adelaide

-The Svetlanas, HQ, Adelaide

-Graham Bonnet (Alcatrazz) The Corner Hotel, Melbourne

-Jinjer, Max Watts, Melbourne

Favourite Fishsticks:   5BN Hammerblast in Natural Finish

I’m proud to support Fishsticks as it’s a small Australian company producing high quality gear that deserves to be celebrated.  I love the wide range of products available, they have a great feel and balance and are a pleasure to play with. I enjoy the 5B for its balance of power and leverage, moderate weight and durability over thinner models, I like the brightness and durability of the nylon tip and the depth of sound produced by the oval tip. The natural finish is appealing to me because its the classic feel of lighter lacquering I've become accustomed to offering a good amount of grip/slickness that feels comfortable when shuffling up and down the stick under different circumstances.

Bio:  I am the drummer from sydney rock band Wicked Things. I’ve been playing drums for 14 years, pulling influences from classic rock band like Deep Purple and Black Sabbath, through to 80’s/90’s hair metal like Motley Crue and Mr Big, as well as more modern stylings of bands like the Foo Fighters. I pride myself on being able to play a wide range of styles from Jazz  to Metal with the primary focus being on a big classic rock sound. I previously played in a Chilli Peppers-esque funk rock band called Cold Vulture for 4 years before the founding of Wicked Things. I do a little work with other sydney bands mostly for recording, for example I’ll be featuring on the Los Sierra album currently in production.

Favourite Fishsticks:

2BXN Destroyernators in Natural & in Colored Deep Embedded Coating + Colored Soft Stick Grips!

I love how durable Fishsticks are and how they respond and feel. I also love that Fishsticks is a company tailored towards metal drummers. It shows in the quality, durability, and feel you get when using these sticks. I prefer the 2BXN Destroyernators in Natural and in Color + Colored Soft Stick Grips. The longer and heavier stick with a shorter taper and nylon tip leads to more definition, power, speed, and an unmatched feel. Along with the Soft Stick Grips that are soft, absorb all shock, stick to your hand no matter how sweaty or dry they are, and feel incredibly comfortable; It is a match that cannot be beat!

Bio:

I had started drumming in Middle School but didn't take it seriously until High School. I have drummed in my High School Marching Band and Indoor Percussion program for 4 years, briefly drummed in The Baltimore Marching Ravens Band, briefly studied Jazz Performance in College, and in the past 3 years have taken up playing my true passion: Drumset and Extreme Metal. I am currently the Drummer for Extreme Metal / Deathgrind band Denied Rapture. I have always had the deepest passion for Extreme Drumming and Extreme Music. I have been drumming for around 6 years.

Home Town: Frankford, Delaware

Favourite Fishsticks: 2BX Destroyernator with Magnum Purple Soft Stick Grips.

The size, weight and balance make playing effortless and the sticks just fly like never before. They make blasting feel like a walk in the park and on top of that the grips hold the sticks right in the fulcrum which makes for PURE PRECISION!!

Bio: Originally from western Sydney but currently based in north west Melbourne. Got into metal age 7 when I discovered the song Aces High by Iron Maiden on one of my mums compilation tapes. Got first professional gig at 15 playing in a jazz trio with 2 other guys who were more than twice my age. However I have played in a wide range of bands with differing styles including punk, hard rock, hip hop, jazz, alt-country, funk-metal, death metal, as well as session work in musicals, plays, etc. Now solely focused on experimental death metal.
