Favourite line of Fishsticks: 5B Hammer Blasts

From the very first second of holding these sticks I knew they weren’t like other sticks. With the 5B’s they add more tone to the drums, feel great in the hand, and respond well off the drum head.

Bio: Currently Playing in Punctured, Decades and G.O.A.T and working as a drum tech for Sonic Heaven Studios. I’ve been playing drums for 11 years and in that time I’ve always wanted to push myself and make as much music and play to as many different people as possible. All the bands I’ve played in hold a special place in my heart because every time I play live I learn something new about myself and about my abilities and that enables me to focus my practice on areas that need a lot of work.

Home Town: Newcastle, Australia

First Drum set: My first kit was a PDP LX, I held onto that until last year when I got my dream kit.

Favourite Styles: Rock, Metal, Progressive Metal and Progressive Rock

Current bands: Punctured, Decades and G.O.A.T

Session Bands: I’ve done work for Flatline, Mardmax and Steel City. 

Favourite Drummers and Biggest influences: Mike Portnoy, Kerim Lechner, Dan Presland, Gavin Harrison

Bands you would love to tour with or already have: I’d love to tour with Teramaze, Caligula’s Horse or Requiem of the Damned

Most memorable moments: So far my most memorable moments were playing at my favourite local venue, The Vault, in support of October Rage. I’m proud of that band and that lineup and wished it went to much higher levels than it did.
